As your Skills Development Facilitator (SDF), we will take responsibility for convening your training committee and ensuring that appropriate consultative processes around skills development are implemented.
We ensure that appropriate procedures and records are kept of training committee meetings and that meaningful Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) are produced and timeously submitted to the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
We liaise with SETA's regarding issues of skills development and oversee the implementation of all your training needs, including the sourcing and vetting of suitable training providers, managing training costs, keeping appropriate training records and ensuring the timeous submission of Annual Training Reports (ATR).
We conduct training needs analyses, manage discretionary grants and SETA funded projects and ensure that all successful grant applications are properly managed and that grant claims are submitted in the required SETA format in order that tranche payments can be made without delay.
